YOUR LOCATION
I come to you
Currently available at your location in Exeter and Mid-Devon.
NOT AN ORDINARY SOUND BATH
Sound that meets you where you are
This is a private session shaped around you, rather than a set programme. We begin with a conversation about what has brought you here and how you would like to feel supported.
From there, I work with live sound, subtle vibration, voice, instruments and moments of silence. Instruments may be played around the body, or with your consent and where appropriate, gently on the body. You can rest, listen and experience the session without needing to perform or achieve anything.
You do not need prior experience of sound healing, meditation or spiritual practice. Your comfort, boundaries and preferences guide our work throughout.
YOUR NEXT STEP
Let’s talk about your session
Tell me a little about what you're looking for and your general location. I'll reply so we can discuss availability, suitability, any travel costs and the best next step.
This is an enquiry, not a confirmed booking or a payment request. There is no need to share detailed medical or personal history at this stage.
Please avoid sharing sensitive medical details here. We can discuss suitability privately before confirming a session.
SOMEWHERE TO BEGIN
What brings you to sound healing?
People arrive with many different intentions. You might recognise yourself in one of these, or have a completely different reason. We make space for your own experience rather than expecting a particular outcome.
Rest & spaciousness
An opportunity to slow down, listen inward and make time for yourself amidst a busy or demanding life.
Reflection & transition
A supportive space to be with emotions, life changes or a wish for greater clarity and balance.
Presence & reconnection
Explore your relationship with body awareness, creativity, sound and your own inner rhythm.
YOUR 90-MINUTE EXPERIENCE
What happens during a session?
There is a simple rhythm to our time together, with plenty of room to respond to you in the moment.
01 · AROUND 30 MINUTES
We begin by listening
We talk about your intentions, preferences and any considerations that may affect the session. You are always welcome to ask questions.
02 · AROUND 60 MINUTES
Sound becomes the practice
Rest as I work with bowls, voice, chimes and other instruments, placed or played with care according to your comfort and consent.
03 · CLOSING THE SESSION
Grounding & integration
We make room within our time together to settle, reflect and discuss any simple aftercare or personal practices that may be useful.
CLEAR, PRACTICAL DETAILS
Your session, at your location
£125 · 90-minute one-to-one session
The fee covers your consultation and personalised sound healing experience. I currently offer visits to clients in Exeter and Mid-Devon, bringing a professional therapy couch and the necessary instruments. We can discuss a suitable quiet space during the enquiry.
Further travel may be possible by arrangement. If a journey outside the usual area involves additional travel costs, these will be explained before you decide to book.
How booking works: Send an enquiry, discuss a suitable date and location, complete the relevant client intake and agree the booking and payment arrangements. A submitted enquiry alone does not reserve a session.
Interested in further work together? We can discuss the possibility of follow-up sessions after your first visit.
A PERSONAL APPROACH
A little about me
I'm Nick Gent, founder of The Mind Orchestra, a musician and professionally trained holistic sound healing practitioner. My approach draws on years of creating and working with sound, together with dedicated training in individual sound healing practice.
I hold training in one-to-one sound healing, including a diploma for individual client work, and am a member of the Sound Healers Association. I am insured for holistic sound healing sessions.
Most importantly, I aim to meet you as a person, not a set of symptoms. We work attentively and collaboratively, with consent, clear communication and genuine respect for your experience.
Training, membership & professional care
Professional training and insurance are part of the care behind each session. Certificate images can be added to this section when available.
Your comfort matters
Before we confirm a session, I will ask you to complete a client intake so we can identify relevant considerations, sound sensitivities, preferences and any adjustments needed. You do not need to disclose detailed health information in the initial enquiry form.
Instruments are used in a way that respects your comfort and consent. You can ask for a change, a pause or an alternative at any time. Some people prefer quieter sounds or no direct contact with instruments, and these preferences can be discussed beforehand.
We finish with grounding and practical aftercare suggestions where useful. Sound healing is a complementary wellbeing practice, not a substitute for medical assessment, treatment or psychological care.

WHEN YOU FEEL READY
Your next step is simply a conversation
You don't need to have all the answers or know exactly what you need. Send an enquiry and we can explore whether an in-person session feels right for you.
