AstroSonic Harmonics: A Listening Guide to Birth Chart Frequencies

AstroSonic Harmonics explores how birth-chart information can be translated into frequency relationships and used as material for contemplative music. This guide explains how to listen to those relationships without turning them into claims that planetary tones medically heal the body.

The chart is the symbolic source. Frequency calculation is part of the musical method. The finished experience is a personalised soundscape shaped through composition, sound design and attentive listening.

What Are AstroSonic Harmonics?

AstroSonic Harmonics are chart-derived frequency relationships used within my wider AstroSonic composition process. Selected planetary information is converted into numerical values, shifted into useful audible ranges where necessary, and developed into tones, drones, intervals, pulses and textures.

The numbers provide constraints and relationships rather than a guaranteed therapeutic code. Two people can hear the same frequency very differently depending on level, timbre, room acoustics, speakers, musical context and personal association.

How The Map Becomes Sound

  1. Birth details: date, time and place are used to generate the chart.
  2. Chart relationships: selected planetary positions and relationships provide the source information.
  3. Frequency calculation: numerical relationships are converted or octave-shifted into practical musical ranges.
  4. Composition: tones are layered with rhythm, texture, spatial movement and other sound-design choices.
  5. Listening material: the result is delivered as a finished personal soundscape rather than a list of isolated numbers.

This distinction matters. The calculation can be precise while the meaning assigned to the birth chart remains astrological and interpretive.

How To Listen

Choose a comfortable setting and a volume that never feels intrusive. Headphones are useful for spatial detail; speakers can make the experience feel more environmental.

Try one complete listen without attempting to interpret every sound. On a second listen, notice:

  • which layers attract your attention;
  • whether some intervals feel stable, tense, open or ambiguous;
  • how rhythm changes the perception of sustained tones;
  • what images, memories or ideas arise;
  • how the final silence differs from the beginning.

These are observations about your listening experience, not diagnostic readings.

A Simple Journalling Practice

Before listening, write one question or theme you want to hold lightly. After the soundscape ends, write for five minutes without trying to prove that the music “answered” you. Record what actually appeared: images, phrases, sensations, emotions, creative ideas or nothing in particular.

Returning to the same track at another time can be revealing because the chart-derived music remains broadly the same while the listener changes.

Can You Hum With The Tones?

Yes. Choose a comfortable note that feels easy against the soundscape and hum softly. You do not need to match a calculated planetary frequency exactly. Listen to the beating, blending and contrast between your voice and the track.

This turns the piece from passive playback into a small improvisational practice.

Night, Morning And Creative Listening

You can use the soundscape at different times for different purposes. Evening listening may function as quiet reflection. Morning listening may become a short attention practice. Artists and writers may use it as a compositional atmosphere.

These are suggested contexts, not promises that the soundscape will alter sleep architecture, activate intuition or produce a particular state of consciousness.

What About Healing, Manifestation And “Soul Codes”?

Astrological and spiritual language can be meaningful within personal practice, but I do not present terms such as energetic balancing, trauma release, dormant soul-code activation or nervous-system alignment as established effects of AstroSonic frequencies.

If you use the work in ritual, intention-setting or spiritual reflection, that is a valid way to engage with it. It is clearer to describe those as contemplative uses than as biomedical mechanisms.

Who Might Enjoy AstroSonic?

  • people interested in astrology who want an audio rather than purely verbal interpretation;
  • musicians and sound practitioners curious about frequency mapping;
  • people who enjoy ambient or experimental listening;
  • meditators and journal writers who want personalised creative material;
  • couples or collaborators interested in the Union Signature format.
